We’ll start with a very brief phone call or FaceTime if preferred. During this conversation I’ll be keen to find out your exact location and estimated due date. This information is essential for ruling out any potential ‘on call’ date clashes with other clients

 I will only accept a maximum of 2 birth clients per month, as this enables me to provide more individualised care.

 

We’ll then pencil in a suitable date for a meet and greet in the comfort of your own home, where we can get to know one another and discuss your exact needs and how I can support you.

 Whether you're planning to birth at home, labour ward, or a midwifery led unit, it is imperative for both of us to get to know one another in a space where you feel most relaxed and comfortable.  

This initial meeting will last no more than 30 minutes.

 

I will provide you with my welcome booklet, which I hope will answer any further questions and help you to make an informed decision about your care.

It is important to note that even after our meeting,  there is absolutely no pressure or obligation to book me as your doula.

Every doula has their own unique style and way of working, and it is essential that you feel we 'click'.

If you have decided you would like to move forward as my client, you can let me know via WhatsApp message or phone call as soon as you have come to a decision. 

I will then kindly request the details of which package you would like to book and block out your slot.

Once I have this information I will forward my letter of agreement and invoice, and we're all set!
